Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first JSA event of the year! On Sunday, October 18th, the Empire Constitution Region of the Junior State of America will be hosting our annual Fall One Day conference. Every year, students from high schools all over New York and Connecticut come together in the autumn to debate resolutions and thought talks at the largest regional JSA conference of the year. This year’s theme is “Legislating Liberty: Millennial Morality,” and our debates, thought talks, and keynote speaker will all contribute something to our understanding of this topic. Come join us for a fun day bustling with activity so we can kick the JSA year off right!

NER Fall One-Day

The NER is pleased to announce our first convention of the year, Fall One Day, to be held at William James Hall at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts! On Saturday, October 24th, 2015, come and join us for a day full of debates and thought talks regarding this year’s theme of Legislating Liberty: Millennial Morality. You’ll spend the day at Harvard making friends, being inspired by our keynote speaker, and debating a variety of issues, whether they be serious or entertaining. Let’s have a blast and make this upcoming year of JSA the best yet!

Fall State

Opportunity and Obstacles: Fulfilling the American Dream

Join the Northeast State for our first and largest convention of the year, Fall State! Held at the beautiful Boston Westin Waterfront, Fall State is an exciting weekend of debates, activism, and fun. Our theme is “Opportunity and Obstacles: Fulfilling the American Dream”, and will focus on modern race relations in America. Activities include a mock Police Review Board, Governors’ Gavel Debate, and a mock Supreme Court case.

Early bird registration ends September 29, while regular registration closes October 13th.
